TubSafe® creates a microscopic, invisible tread in the surface. This is not visible by the naked eye. Etching is a generic word as most products on the market are acid base and they do etch, but also can destroy the integrity of the surface as they are much too strong.

The treatment is simple to install. You must clean the tub prior to installation of TubSafe. Remove any appliques or strips.
